Biru NFT Staking is Live — Full Guide & Tutorial

The NFT staking feature on the Biru platform is officially LIVE! Your NFTs are no longer just collectibles — now they can help you earn Beer Points and unlock even more value. This guide will walk you through everything you need to know to get started with NFT staking on Biru.

What is NFT Staking?

NFT staking allows you to lock your NFTs in Biru’s staking contract for a period of time to earn Beer Points as rewards. Your NFTs remain in your ownership, and will return to your wallet as soon as you unstake them. It’s a way to generate passive rewards without letting your assets sit idle.
(Note: Not all NFTs can be staked. Please refer to the eligible collections list below.)

How Beer Points Are Calculated

Once staked, your NFTs will start earning Beer Points. The amount earned depends on several factors:

• NFT Rarity Level—NFTs are categorized into five rarity tiers. The higher the rarity, the more base points your NFT can earn:
  • Mystical— 1000 points : Exclusive rarity level for 13 unique 1-of-1 in Birunoko, granting exclusive high base points.
  • Legend— 200 points : Highest rarity level. Extremely rare and grants the highest base points.
  • Epic— 50 points : Second highest rarity.
  • Rare— 20 points : Mid-to-high tier.
  • Normal— 10 points : Standard-level NFTs, commonly owned by most users.
  • Memorial/ Spirited— 1 point : Most common type, symbolic or commemorative NFTs. Lowest base points but still earnable.

• Quantity Bonus—This bonus is calculated based on the total number of NFTs you stake. The bonus starts at +1% for 2 NFTs and goes up to +15% for 20 NFTs. This bonus applies to all NFTs in your staking pool.
• Time Bonus—Calculated per NFT, this reward increases based on how long an NFT has been staked. It starts at +0.1% (10 days) and maxes out at +5% (60 days). Each NFT’s time bonus is individually tracked.

Beer Point Claiming System

Beer Points are distributed once per day, based on your staking status at 08:00 (UTC+8). To qualify for the reward, both of the following conditions must be met:

1. The NFT is in "staked" status at the time of distribution (08:00 UTC+8).
2. The NFT has been staked for at least 24 hours since the most recent staking action.

⏱️ Example:
If you staked your NFT at Feb 3rd, 14:16 (UTC+8), it won’t meet the 24-hour condition until Feb 4th, 14:16. Therefore, your first eligible reward will be distributed at Feb 5th, 08:00 (UTC+8).

📌 If either condition is not met before 08:00 UTC+8, no Beer Point will be issued for that day. Please check again after the full 24-hour requirement is satisfied.

Staking Phases & Redeemable Rewards

1️⃣ Beta Staking Phase

• Duration: April 17, 15:30 UTC+8 ~ May 31, 08:00 UTC+8(Subject to changes — check Biru socials for updates.)
• Rewards: Earn a share of the Season 6–10 ACS Points Pool, based on your total Beer Points earned during the season.
• Additional Notes:
  • At the end of each season, your accumulated Beer Points will reset after ACS Points are distributed.
  • Reset happens at 08:00 (UTC+8) on each season’s final day.
  • Seasons 6 & 7 are combined for rewards and calculation purposes.

2️⃣ Official Staking Phase

• Starting at: June 3rd, 2025
• Rewards: Details on Beer Points utility will be announced soon.
• In the official phase, your earned Beer Points will no longer reset and will continue accumulating over time.

How to Start Staking

1. Visit the Staking Page or go to "Staking" under the "Campaign" menu on the Biru website.
2. Connect your wallet.
3. On the Stakable NFT tab, view your NFTs, their rarity levels, and base point values.(If you don’t own any eligible NFTs, click "View Stakable Collections" to see all eligible collections.)
4. Select the NFTs you want to stake and click “Stake Now”.
5. Confirm the transaction via wallet signature.
6. Done! Your NFTs are now working for you and accumulating Beer Points.

Eligible NFT Collections for Staking

Currently, these NFT collections are available for staking:
✅ B!RU Cellar Batch
✅ Meowtopia
✅ Glassbound Spirits
✅ Birunoko

Each collection offers different base point values — and the rarer the NFT, the higher the rewards. More eligible collections will be added in the future. Check the “View Stakable Collections” tab to stay updated.

Additional Notes

• While staked, your NFTs are locked in the smart contract and cannot be transferred or sold.
• You can monitor your staking data under the My Staking tab, and view history and claims in the History section.
• A Leaderboard displays rankings based on Total Beer Points (Claimable + Claimed).
• You can unstake at any time, and the NFT will immediately return to your wallet. However:
  • All quantity and time bonuses for that NFT will reset.
  • If the NFT was staked for less than 24 hours, no Beer Points will be earned.
